Inspiring Love

The One Link That Could Save Your Life

Dear Reader,

When we think of February, we often associate it with the chocolate-filled boxes and romantic cards of Valentine’s Day. But February is also Heart Month, a time to remind ourselves about the leading cause of death among women—heart disease.

We often think of heart disease as a ‘man’s problem’, but historical evidence shows that women are at risk for this disease more than any other. The good news is that you can reduce your risk of a stroke or heart attack by up to 80%! I don’t know about you, but I like those odds.

When I think about all the wonderful women in my life, you, dear reader, are included in that group. Your support and kindness makes my life so much better than I could have imagined (and I have a pretty big imagination). I’d like to give you something back. This month, my Valentine to you is to provide you with one link that could save your life, or the life of someone you love.
